Once often and still occasionally referred to as The Brook, Westbrook has evolved quite a bit in recent years. With a downtown that's home to Mast Landing Brewing Company and a handful of great restaurants, it's no longer the bedroom community to Portland that it once was.
One of the bigger (let's be honest...biggest) developments on the Westbrook front is the Rock Row community that will absolutely transform the look and feel of Westbrook. Granted it's not downtown, but it may as well be, as it will most likely become the new entertainment hub for Westbrook and the surrounding communities. With retail, restaurants, a concert venue, beer hall, and countless other cool things, it's a super exciting project that I can't wait to see come to fruition.
